Hemisferios University stood out in this space promoted by the Ministry of National Defense.

UHE's School of Gastronomy was honored to be invited by the Ministry of National Defense to participate in the "Best Bread Guagua" Contest, an event that took place on November 1st at the old Military Circle in Quito, with the objective of highlighting the richness of Ecuadorian culinary cultures and traditions.
Our School of Gastronomy had an outstanding participation by presenting the complete elaboration of the bread guaguas through a video, as well as a presentation detailing the history and cultural significance of this local tradition. In addition, the participants brought samples of their exquisite preparation for the four judges to taste.
The creativity and delicious flavors did not go unnoticed, and as a result of the commitment of our contestants, we won third place. This distinction is a reflection of the quality and academic excellence that characterizes Universidad Hemisferios and makes us proud.
