In a historic milestone for our 20th anniversary, the National Assembly granted the "National Assembly of the Republic of Ecuador, Dr. Vicente Rocafuerte" award for educational merit.
The award ceremony took place in the National Assembly Hall and was attended by prominent authorities, teachers, students and representatives of the educational community. The President of the National Assembly, Henry Kronfle, presented this significant recognition to Juan David Bernal, Dean of the International Faculty of Communication and Cultural Industries, and Alicia Urgellés, Director of the Communication career, who proudly received this emblem on behalf of the entire university community.
The "Dr. Vicente Rocafuerte" award highlights Uhemisferios' founding vision of offering quality education that prepares future generations for the global challenges of the 21st century. Since its inception, the university has stood out for its focus on the integral formation of its students, combining academic excellence with the development of leadership skills, critical thinking and social commitment.
Uhemisferios' research programs, driven by a talented faculty and supported by modern facilities and resources, have contributed to the generation of knowledge in diverse areas, from the social sciences and humanities to engineering and health sciences.
