It is with great pride that we announce that Valeria Franco, a fourth semester student of the Psychopedagogy career, had an outstanding participation in the Kickboxing Summer Cup held at the Coliseo Los Quitus, Quito. After achieving second place in the Junior category at the beginning of the year, Valeria, who recently turned 19, took on the challenge of competing in the Senior category, facing more demanding rivals. Her intense preparation at the Código Samurai academy, with training sessions from Monday to Saturday, has been key in her evolution as an athlete.
The Summer Cup, organized by the Kickboxing Association of Pichincha, brought together novice and advanced competitors from various academies in the country. The combat modalities included Kick Light and Low Kick, offering the athletes an ideal scenario to demonstrate their ability and growth in this sport. Valeria not only excelled in her performance, but also consolidated her position as one of the promises of kickboxing in Ecuador.
This event, which marks the fourth kickboxing championship of the year, attracted coaches, athletes and family members, who enjoyed exciting confrontations throughout the day. Our student's participation in the Senior category is a reflection of her dedication, discipline and ability to overcome the new challenges she faces at this stage of her sports career.
Uhemisferios is proud to support Valeria in her integral formation, encouraging not only her academic development, but also her growth in sports. Congratulations Valeria!
