Last Monday, September 23, Daniel Barragan, Director of the International Center for Research on Environment and Territory of the Universidad Hemisferios (CIIAT) participated in the public forum on the "Escazu Agreement and the importance of strengthening environmental governance mechanisms in Ecuador", which took place in the Ex-Presidents' Hall of the National Assembly.
Daniel Barragan's intervention took place in the first panel of the event where environmental democracy, tensions and conflicts between human rights and the environment were discussed.
