The illegal market of counterfeit, adulterated, expired and contraband products is a worldwide problem that affects Ecuador's economy and many of them, the public health of our society.
This September 13 begins the 1st Intensive Program "Measures to Combat Illegal Trade", a program that will address issues such as smuggling, counterfeiting, adulteration, piracy and organized crime.

The main objective of the program is to train Judges, Prosecutors and Judicial Police of the Ministry of the Interior to achieve a better performance against the various crimes related to the illegal market of products, having a group of specialized authorities.
Representatives from 15 public and private institutions will be present, with the participation of 10 international speakers from the USA, France, Colombia and Peru.
The program has a duration of 2 weeks with 20 academic hours per week. Additionally, attendees will receive an accreditation from the UHemisferios with the academic support of the Escuela de la Función Judicial.
