Last Wednesday, May 29, 2024, UHE hosted the II Meeting of the Education, Learning and Service Network (REAPS). The event began with welcoming remarks from our rector, Dr. Diego A. We counted with the presence of IES Abroad, the Department of Learning and Service of USFQ, Vinculación PUCE Quito and PUCE Ibarra, Einstein College, members of the Network of Ignatian Educational Units (RUEI), Free Legal Clinic and UHE Nursing.

Claudia Carbonell, director of the Center for Research, Liaison and Knowledge Transfer, gave an introduction on the importance of networks in academia, emphasizing that without links there would be no academia worldwide. The UHE also showed its artistic talent with the participation of students and teachers of theMusic career, who performed two compositions: "Soñando con Quito" and "De dónde vengo", by the author Alex Alvear, filling the atmosphere with culture and creativity.

Carlos Corrales, a professor at PUCE, gave a talk on the "AppS Methodology", in which he explained the classification of activities and their practical application, providing a valuable theoretical and practical perspective.

The event included an open house, where REAPS members presented their projects and discussed their methods for expanding their impact on society. In this section, Colegio Einstein presented some of its social impact projects carried out by children and adolescents, who detailed their research and achievements.
