On Wednesday, May 22, our students of the Internet Advertising class of the Communication career, made an enriching visit to the companies GO Quito Hotel and GO Galapagos. The purpose of this activity was to provide students with a deeper insight into working in tourism and hospitality companies, especially in the areas of marketing and sales.
The day began with a tour of the GO Quito Hotel, where the students were guided by the Head of Operations. During this tour, they had the opportunity to learn in detail about the hotel's products and services, as well as to interact with the marketing area collaborators. This experience allowed them to observe firsthand the strategies and practices employed by the hotel to attract and satisfy its customers.
The students then visited GO Galapagos, where they were given a similar tour. This company, which specializes in tourism in the Galapagos Islands, offered them a unique perspective on marketing management in such a unique and prestigious tourist destination.
This visit was especially valuable for the students, who have been developing a digital advertising project for these brands in class. The direct contact with the companies allowed them to better understand the identity and management of GO Quito Hotel and GO Galapagos, thus enriching their academic work with practical and real experiences.
