Our nursing students promote health and wellness in older adults
Last Friday, May 31, the students of the Nursing Career carried out a significant project entitled "Socioemotional Competencies for the Promotion of Health and Well-being in Older Adults". This project was led by the teacher Camila Moraes and its main objective was the development of socioemotional skills in the elderly.
During the day, various playful and didactic games designed to promote interaction, empathy and emotional well-being among the older adults were played. These activities not only provided moments of entertainment and joy, but also contributed to the strengthening of essential competencies for mental and emotional health.
The dedication and enthusiasm of our students were key to the success of this initiative. This type of project reflects our commitment to the integral formation of future health professionals and to the wellbeing of the community.
At UHE we support and promote activities that generate a positive impact on our society, reaffirming our commitment to education and social responsibility.
