Visit to the National Court

UHE promotes practical experience for law studentsat the National Court of Justice

Visit of our students to the Court

Hemisferios University strengthens the integral formation of its students through experiences that complement their learning, both in and out of the classroom. On March 22, the first and second semester students were received in the plenary hall of the National Court of Justice.

National Judge David Jacho was the one who received the students and taught them about the matters, procedural resources and cases that are solved day by day in the National Court. In addition, they were able to attend two criminal hearings; the first one was about murder and the next one about trafficking of illicit substances. They also visited the library where they had access to the judicial gazettes and historical documents that are kept in the facilities.

The purpose of the visit was for the students to become familiar with the environment of the country's justice institutions, learn about the activities carried out at the Court and, by getting to know the judges, they could be inspired by them in their career development.

Accompanied by the Law Career Director, Gabriel Galán, and the professor, María Cristian Mantilla, the students were an active part of this enriching space that allowed them to acquire practical knowledge and broaden their vision of the practice of law in the public sphere.

Universidad Hemisferios reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence, promoting this type of activities that enrich the educational experience of its students and prepare them to face the challenges of the working world with solid theoretical and practical bases.
