Universidad Hemisferios is an Ecuadorian institution of higher education, established by law in 2004 and fully framed within the legal system of the State.
It is recognized as the intellectual bearer, guarantor and scientific promoter of the riches of our nation and its exceptional cultural, ethnic, geographic, biological and humanistic diversity.
To this end, it strives to always work with academic category and human tone, in an environment of solidarity and kind freedom. It provides highly qualified professionals, capable of adequately meeting the needs of society. It is characterized by forming just and humane people who seek the truth, exercise in the good and, as a result, transform society.
The University has entrusted to the Prelature of Opus Dei the spiritual assistance and Christian inspiration of the formation it imparts, providing specific pastoral assistance and contributing to the Christian vivification of the institution, through the appropriate means of orientation, doctrinal and spiritual formation, as well as adequate pastoral assistance.
Governance at Universidad Hemisferios, both institutional and student, is inspired by the principles of authority understood as service. The university authorities will ensure the exercise of collegial governance, respect for the variety of opinions and the participation of the entire university community, within the framework of legal provisions.
Differentiating and Innovative. With a 10-year perspective, the Hemisferios University Strategic Model seeks to generate value in order to establish a distinctive position (marking a distance from other local and international proposals).
