Our first semester students from the School of Health Sciences' Dentistry and Nursing programs opened the doors of their classrooms to share with the community their fascinating learning about the anatomy of the human body. The open house, organized by Dr. Darwin Luna, professor, provided visitors with an interactive tour of the different parts of the human body, from the bones to the internal organs.
Through anatomical models, informative slides and hands-on demonstrations, students guided visitors on a journey inside the human body; explaining the functions and characteristics of each organ and system. Visitors were able to observe up close the beating heart, the lungs in action, the complex digestive system and much more.
The anatomy open house was not only an opportunity to showcase the knowledge acquired by the students, but also to highlight the commitment of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the UHE with the comprehensive training of its students. The initiative seeks to bring science closer to the community and awaken interest in health-related careers.
A promising future for students
In this event our students had the opportunity to put into practice their knowledge and share their passion for anatomy with the community. Undoubtedly, this initiative will allow them to continue their academic training with greater enthusiasm and commitment. Preparing them to become highly trained health professionals committed to the welfare of people.
