This important initiative provides scholarships to more than 300 high-performance athletes and sports leaders in the country.
Hemisferios University was the setting for the Launching of the Sports Leadership and Empowerment Program - PLED 2023 on Tuesday, August 8th at the University Campus. This initiative was developed by the School of Government of Hemisferios University, with the support of the Ministry of Sports and various private entities committed to sports development.
The main objective of the program is to strengthen the capabilities of High Performance athletes and Sports Managers in an innovative management scheme for excellence, promoting the integral development of the athlete and fostering a balance between professional performance and personal wellbeing.
Sebastián Palacios, Minister of Sports, was part of the event together with Jacky Factos, outstanding Ecuadorian karateka. The Minister thanked the private company and highlighted the careful elaboration of the program that our University had to make possible this training space focused on sport.
